Neopass module for NeoGeo AES, the real RGB experience : Awaken the beast !
This module simplifies NeoGeo AES RGB bypass process by reducing wiring and mess ! It radically improves image quality and compatibility.
Unlike DIY public tutorials, the module is optimized for the best visuals, compatibility, safer to install, uses minimal wiring, installation is fully reversible. It delivers perfect compatibility with modern upscalers and older TVs : works flawlessly with the OSSC (6x confirmed), RetroTink models, and even older CRT TVs with tricky or capricious sync behavior.

Installation process In short:
Remove a few resistors and capacitors from the video section
Solder a single wire from the RGB video encoder to the sync input on the Neopass PCB
Add a few additional solder joints to connect RGB input and output on the Neopass PCB

Why? A bit more technical
On 3.3/3.4 revisions : sync is fine but picture is noticeably degraded due to the low bandwidth of the Sony CXA1145P video encoder.
On 3.5/3.6 motherboard revisions, the composite sync is of low quality, and picture is noticeably degraded due to the low bandwidth of the Sony CXA1145P video encoder.
On NEC-AES low serial motherboard revisions, sync is fine but picture is noticeably degraded due to the low bandwidth of the Sony CXA1145P video encoder.
Important note for USA customers : The shipping of small parcels from France to the USA has been temporarily restored via Fedex, thanks to a new agreement with La Poste Française. This will allow us to deliver to our friends in the USA again ! Unfortunately, the usual €5 rate for shipments of up to 4 kits per envelope isn't possible right now, and it can only be reinstated once the full "Trump tariffs" are completely implemented in France. I'm truly sorry for this situation, which is beyond my control, but there's no other solution available at the moment. The new temporary rate will be €36 per parcel for shipments of 1 to 100 kits (around 500gr), if you need more contact me. As soon as this is possible, the economy rates will be reinstated ! Tracking information will become available online once the postal service processes and activates the shipment (usually few days after shipping).
